Located in the tiny hamlet of Les Mathevies, the campsite was purchased in 2008 with an expected number of yearly bookings from dutch holidaymakers. The aim of the new owners is to offer more facilities whilst retaining the relaxed informal settings that existing customers have been accustomed too, as well as promoting themselves to new families from France and England.
Brief: Create an appealing identity and website which would convey the ambience of the camping site.
Solution: Pictures speak a thousand words, it's true. My decision was to let their specially commissioned photos take precedence over the pages to provide a very honest a wysiwyg impression.
Input: Design of identity, design and CSS build of website. All this was presented, developed and discussed over the internet and through Skype.
Customer comments:
"As an ergonomist, let me tell you your website is one of the easiest and most user friendly I’ve seen!"
"...my compliments on your site, you really make a difference!"
"Had a look at your website... really cool... like the lay-out of it... very easy to navigate around."
"Congratulations with your new web site.
It is a splendid and clear site."
"I really like the Mathevies site! It's friendly, light and easy. It really looks like the sort of place a family would have fun - there's a really good range of activities etc. And I really like the fact that it's picture-led - with the main horizontal image, gives a good feel... fun typeface too.
